The full patch notes for Modern Warfare’s new update

There’s a ton to unpack with the new update, but right off the bat, many players will wonder how big the file sizes are. According to Infinity Ward, owners of the full Modern Warfare game will have a 22-36 GB update to download. Free-to-play Warzone users will need to download a file of 22-30 GB. This is certainly a step up compared to other updates, but it’s still a tad large for a single update.

Now for the actual meat of the update. We’ll review all the major new Warzone content but won’t list every single patch note. If you wish to read the full list, you can visit Infinity Ward’s website.

As previously announced in the day, Warzone will now support up to 200 players per lobby. This is accompanied by the new “Quads 200” game mode along with a plethora of other standard modes. There are also new Gulag weapons, which include rifles, snipers, and a fists and throwing knife loadout. Infinity Ward additionally fixed a slew of bugs, including the notorious gas mask glitch.
