Jason Killingsworth, Riot Games creative director since 2014, has announced his departure from the company. In a post on LinkedIn, Killingsworth said that he is leaving to “put a new dent in the universe by building my own publishing company Tune & Fairweather.”
Tune & Fairweather is an independent book publishing company founded by Killingsworth and based in Dublin, Ireland. Last year, the company completed a Kickstarter to produce a hardcover edition of a Dark Souls companion book You Died, which was co-written by Killingsworth and Keza MacDonald. In the Kickstarter campaign description, Killingsworth describes committing out-of-work hours to “laying the foundation” for Tune & Fairweather.
Prior to joining Riot Games, Killingsworth served in editorial leadership roles at Future Publishing’s Official PlayStation Magazine and Edge and as the deputy editor at music, film, and lifestyle magazine Paste.
