Ubisoft will host its annual Rainbow Six Siege world championship, the Six Invitational, in-person following authorization from government authorities in Paris, France. The event will remain closed to spectators, but will bring together teams from around the world from May 11 to 23 to compete in-person. The Six Invitational will award a total $3M USD prize pool.
The six qualified teams from Brazil have received approval to enter France for the event, but Oceania’s Wildcard Gaming has not and will be unable to compete as a result. Ubisoft will provide 1% of the total Six Invitational prize pool to Wildcard Gaming as a consolation (the distribution allotted for a 19th or 20th place team).
