Last June 3rd, all the League of Legends fans received very sad news: one of the biggest legends of all time, Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao, was retiring due to some health problems at the age of 23 years old.

Uzi had been a superstar for eight years, he started playing with Star Horn Royal Club (old name for RNG) in 2012, being only 15 years old, and since then, everybody knew how good his mechanics were.
Despite being so good, the best AD Carry of all times barely won international titles. His team always struggled to conquest these events, and it took six years for Uzi to win his first international trophy: 2018 Mid Season Invitational. But never managed to win a World Championship.
Maybe that is the reason why Uzi was planning to move to another team, to see if he could finally win the most important international event, but his health did not allow him.
In the next interview, the last interview he did as a pro player, Uzi talks about his problems and claims that his intentions are to come back to the LPL:

These intentions are the last thing we knew about Uzi’s professional career, the last drop of hope for the fans: Uzi could come back in the future… if his health allows it.
Now, we have known thanks to former Invictus Gaming AD Carry Chen “West” Long, that Uzi could have headed over to Invictus Gaming for the 2020 Summer Split.
West: “Lemme tell you, The Eternal God (Uzi) almost came [to iG], almost. I can only tell you this little, the rest’s whatever. He almost came during the transfer period. If he came, wouldn’t the S10 World Championship been a no-brainer?” https://t.co/kKsDEfcTj9

Invictus Gaming lost their main AD Carry, Yu “JackeyLove” Wen-Bo, at the beginning of the year, and according to West, Uzi was supposed to replace him and create a superteam together with Rookie and TheShy.
That was almost a reality, but it happened before Uzi’s decision of retiring. Now, we can only dream and wish that his health gets better, so we can maybe see this superstar shining again, maybe with Invictus Gaming, or maybe with another team.
