WePlay! VALORANT Invitational first day ends with four sweeps

The first day of the WePlay! VALORANT Invitational has come to a close. It was a day of sweeps as all winning teams managed to take the series without dropping a map.

Ninjas in Pyjamas opened things up with their victory over forZe and were followed by Party Parrots vs. Need More DM with the former walking away with the 2-0.

The last two matches of the day pinned fish123 vs. Prodigy and G2 vs. nolpenki with fish123 and G2 walking away with their expected victory.

In terms of individual player performance, Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom topped the charts according to Valorantify.com. The Belgian has a kill-to-death ratio of 1.91 (42-22) and an overall rating of 1.47. He’s followed by Charles “CREA^” Beauvois of Ninjas in Pyjamas who finished day one with a 1.50 k/d and a 1.40 rating.

Across day one, Split was the least picked up with a pick rate of 12.50% while Haven saw the most play at a 37.50% pick rate. Bind and Ascent filled in the gaps at 25% a piece.
