This summer, Heidi Klum has transformed 50 into the new 30. The model, 48, has been living it up in bikini pics and sunbathing shots on Instagram that prove she’s basically aging in reverse.
Her latest Instagram post is just one of a series that show off Heidi’s super sculpted abs. In the photo, Heidi hangs off of a dock sans bikini while rocking a body chain. Her arms and core look totally toned.
“You put the biggest smile on my face Tom 😁❤️,” the America’s Got Talent host captioned the post. (And kudos to her husband Tom for his photography skills, btw—he’s been making Heidi’s Instagram posts happen all summer long!)

If you’re wondering just how Heidi manages to stay so strong, turns out her secret is actually pretty simple. The model loves running—but you won’t catch her jogging indoors. “I have a treadmill that’s really great, but it sits there unused. I don’t have time for it,” she told Women’s Health.
Instead, Heidi goes for long runs outside. “My favorite workout is a long run along the Westside Highway, which stretches along the Hudson River in New York City,” she told Glamour back in 2014. “It’s a beautiful path, and you always feel surrounded by such an amazing community.”
“You see the same people running every morning, and they inspire me to keep going,” she added. “That and knowing there is a Starbucks coffee at the end of the route!”
After her run, Heidi tries to get moving whenever she can throughout her busy day. She might jump around with her kids on the trampoline or bike ride with them along the beachfront, she told WH. “When I’m traveling, it could be doing a few sit-ups in my hotel room before I head to work,” she mentioned to Glamour.
As for her diet, Heidi mixes it up each day, but she’s big on fresh fruits and veggies. She keeps cut-up produce in her fridge so she and her kids can whip up a quick smoothie every morning, per Women’s Health. And she eats lots of lean proteins for lunch and dinner, like chicken, turkey, and fish.
But when Heidi’s craving something specific, there’s no stopping her. “If I want a cheeseburger, I am not only going to eat that cheeseburger, but I’m going to enjoy that cheeseburger,” she told Glamour.
