More news is being shared today as Call of Duty Vanguard is fully revealed for PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms.

According to a new leak, a Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha test is planned for later this month, followed by a beta test in September.

The Call of Duty: Vanguard Champion Hill Alpha has allegedly been discovered on the PlayStation Network before a full announcement.

The new Vanguard Alpha will reportedly kick off on August 27 and be made available to download on PS4 and PS5.

As this is a leak coming from the PlayStation Network, it’s unclear at this time whether it will appear on other platforms.

There are also reports of a new Call of Duty Vanguard beta being scheduled for September, which could include both closed and open dates.

For now, the Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha for the Champion Hill mode is reportedly kicking off on August 27 and will end on August 29.

Both reports can be found on VGC, with news of the Vanguard beta coming from Modern Warzone.

And if a new Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha is being planned for August, we can expect more news on the subject to be shared very soon.

Today will see the official unveiling of Call of Duty Vanguard as part of a new Warzone event.

This is scheduled to begin at 6:30pm BST and will allow gamers to complete a special mission, with Activision telling fans this week:

“Your target is a heavily armoured train – a moving fortress with multiple, lethal turrets, but we’ve identified weak points. Your primary objectives are to plant TNT charges in the tunnel by Verdansk Hospital, where we know it will pass through according to the latest intel.

“If all goes well, that mountain crumbles with that monstrosity still in it. Worst case scenario? We’re sending you in with rifles and launchers for a reason, soldier.

“If we get the job done well during the Battle of Verdansk, rest assured: you and the squad will be rewarded for your efforts. Custom firepower and plenty of special keepsakes are all up for grabs, including some for being a part of this massive mission. But of course, those who do significant damage to this enemy and rendezvous to the exfil point in time will get some additional rewards that will make them stand out from the greenhorns in our ranks.”
