Activision has brought an 80s action hero theme to Verdansk, and one of the main draws is the new Call of Duty Warzone Nakatomi Plaza.
During this new 80s event in WarzoneTM, you can assault the infamous Nakatomi Plaza and the reason to do so is to earn loadout items and other rewards during your match.
The Nakatomi Plaza building has been pulled straight from the Die Hard movies, and can be explored from both outside and inside.
One key area of the new place is the Call of Duty Warzone Nakatomi Vault, which is one of the main places you want to visit.
This is because opening the vault will reward you for your actions, but as you can imagine, there are a lot of people trying to do it.
This means that the Warzone downtown is going to be a hotbed of action, and probably very hard to conquer.
As Activision points out: “Temporarily replacing the SKN Broadcast Tower and Construction Site near Downtown Verdansk’s Financial District, Nakatomi Plaza features a sprawling 10 interior levels and a roof to explore in addition to expansive exterior grounds.
“Earmarked by replicas of Nakatomi Plaza and their upcoming bridge project in East Asia, the 31st floor is the building’s executive level.
“Although it may not be at a “C-suite” level of high value, you could find some loadout items in the various offices or the company’s main boardroom, which is deceptively long enough for mid-range tools to be viable.
“Elsewhere on this floor is the company’s vault. While it’s been long cleared of any bearer’s bonds, it could contain a stash of incredible loot for those who can crack it open…
“Search high and low for the Supply Boxes that are part of the Unfinished Business event. Listen for the hum they emit and use your knowledge of the film to narrow down their locations.
“The Nakatomi Corp. Vault is sealed tight with plenty of valuables inside. It may be possible to unlock it if you find its keys during some missions, but all we know is it’ll take more than just your charming personality to crack it open.”
Call of Duty Warzone: Activision teases latest update
HOW TO OPEN THE WARZONE VAULT IN NAKATOMI PLAZA?
To start the Nakatomi Plaza heist, you need to have the right keycards at the ready.
Only one keycard is needed to unlock the vault, however, to get all the best rewards and loot, you will need all three.
This can be done by completing an Unfinished Business Contract, which can be found outside of Nakatomi Plaza.
They are in limited supply, meaning you need to be quick to grab one, after which you need to start opening loot boxes.
The third one should contain the keycard needed for the Nakatomi Plaza in Downtown.
While some of the team handles this objective, someone else could land on the top of the Plaza to start the next part.
This includes unlocking a mission from the roof where you will need to defuse explosives, the last one disarmed will reward you with a second keycard.
Keycard 3 can be found in the parking garages, with the largest and lowest including a White Van emitting a yellow glow.
After jumping into the truck, you will need to survive waves of NPCs which will need to be eliminated to score the last keycard.
To unlock the Vault, you will need to find the elevator shaft in the plaza and use the zipline to rise to Floor 30.
You need to head up one more floor to reach Floor 31 and take down the squads waiting for you.
After completing this round, you can use a keycard on a nearby computer, and if you have all the keycards, you’ll be able to unlock all the loot boxes inside.
There will be Cash, Special Bonus Tokens, an Advance AUV and the Contraband Weapon Blueprint.
