Cyberpunk 2077: Keanu Reeves gets his own Porsche car

New Cyberpunk 2077 footage highlights the various vehicles you can drive, as well as the fashion styles of Nighty City’s citizens.

Cyberpunk 2077 is edging closer and closer to release, though CD Projekt Red has had to enforce crunch to make sure it releases on time.

Last night, the studio released another Night City Wire episode, which provided various updates on the game and showed off new footage.

The primary focus was on the various vehicles that can be driven, with CD Projekt Red revealing that celebrity star Keanu Reeves will be getting his own unique car.

Based on an actual Porsche 911 Turbo, the car is tied to Reeves’ character Johnny Silverhand, who has been described as a ‘digital ghost’.

The car can be driven by players and has been recreated to resemble its classic 1977 appearance, though it has been adapted somewhat to better fit into the game’s world, such as having electronic mirrors with monitors inside.

A real-life version of Silverhand’s car has also been built and can be seen outside of the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany until October 22.

Cyberpunk 2077 will feature a wide variety of cars and bikes, though the new footage prioritises the former, ranging from fancy sports cars to chunky armoured trucks, with CD Projekt Red promising that each and every one will look and feel unique.

There’s also a brief section about the various fashion styles found in Night City, which mostly acts as worldbuilding but also acts as a tease on how much customisation there will be for players, when they create their version of main character V.

Lastly, it has been confirmed that Cyberpunk’s Stadia release will come out on the same day as the console versions and that pre-orders are now available.

Anyone who buys the game on Stadia will receive a bunch of digital extras too, such as an art booklet, a comic book, the game’s score, and the original sourcebook for the Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop game.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on November 19. Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 versions will released next year.
