Mother Music Revisited Album Is Now Available On Streaming Services In The US And Canada

While the Mother series won’t be getting another game any time soon, fans can instead enjoy this new Mother Music Revisited album, produced and self-covered by Keiichi Suzuki.

Released by Nippon Columbia, the new soundtrack consists of 10 tracks and can be found on iTunes, Spotify, and Apple Music. Each track is a faithful recreation of some of the most iconic music from the series, including Pollyanna (I Believe in You), Bein’ Friends, and Snow Man.

Nippon Columbia promoted the new album by releasing a live performance of Snow Man on YouTube. Mother Music Revisited will be available in the United States and Canada. You can also find it on iTunes in Japan.

Keiichi Suzuki is a prominent Japanese musician, songwriter, and the co-founder of the rock band, Moonriders. He worked on the original music in Mother – known as Earthbound outside Japan – and has also worked on various films such as Tokyo Godfathers and Uzumaki. The Mother Music Revisited album will likely become an instant classic among Mother aficionados, and it’s great to see the masterful soundtrack still getting the love it deserves more than two decades after its initial release.

As of now, there are no plans for another game in the series, although the internet continues to beg Nintendo on a regular basis. The best way to rekindle those nostalgic flames is by jumping into Super Smash Bros as Ness – or listening to this remastered soundtrack.

Mother Music Revisited is now available on Spotify, iTunes, and Apple Music.
