One of the main things you’re going to want to concentrate on in Persona 5 Strikers is raising your Bond Level. Doing this earns you Bond Points that can be spent on purchasing and upgrading various Bond Skills, all of which will help make the game a little bit easier.
There are a few ways that you can raise your Bond Level, most of which will be done naturally throughout your playthrough, but there are some additional ways that many players are likely to miss. Here are all the ways in which you can increase your Bond Level.
The main way that you will increase your Bond Level is from battles. Every battle earns you some Bond Experience, but it’ll only show the Bond gauge increasing for considerable experience earned, such as from mini-boss/boss battles. Re-doing some of the repeatable requests that ask you to take on various bosses is a great way to farm Bond Experience.
There are set points throughout the storyline where you will earn Bond Experience from spending time with your fellow Phantom Thieves. These moments are unmissable and often offer some hilarious or touching moments between the characters.
Plenty of requests offer Bond Experience as a reward, especially the missable Special Requests that your friends will you to complete if you speak to them on certain dates. However, Bond Experience can only be earned once, even if the request is repeatable. Any subsequent completions will result in a different reward.
Cooking New Recipes
There are 19 different recipes that you can find and cook in Strikers, though many of them are missable. Each time you cook a brand new recipe for the first time, it will increase your Bond Level.
Socializing with Friends
During your journey, there will be times when your friends will ask to spend some time with you. Doing so will reward you with a little cutscene event of the time spent together and will also increase your Bond Level. It’s worth speaking to your friends whenever possible so that you don’t miss out on any of these moments.
Why You Should Increase Your Bond Level
Raising your Bond Level gives you points to spend in the Bond Skill menu, with lower levels offering 3-4 points each, whereas higher levels offer 7 points each time you rank up. These points can then be used to purchase and upgrade skills, with the latter option enhancing the effect of that particular skill. Bond Skills are super important as they offer many advantages for players. There are also a couple of trophies related to Bond Skills, including one for maxing out all Bond Skills, which will require plenty of points to achieve.
