Tens!, the popular mobile puzzle game with over a million installs on Android, is heading to Nintendo Switch and Steam on November 5. If you pre-order now, you can take advantage of a promotional discount and pick the game up for just $9.99.
If you’re unfamiliar with the title, Tens! is a dice-puzzle game that plays out a bit like sudoku. You’ll place dice on the game board one at a time, aiming to create rows and columns that add up to ten in order to remove them from the playing field. Clear all dice from the board, and you’ll beat the level. It offers a single-player Adventure mode with more than 70 levels, local multiplayer, and an Endless mode that “challenges your skill level.”
As you work your way through the single-player campaign you’ll unlock new dice skins, new characters, and face off against difficult bosses. It seems tailormade for the portable Switch, although we’re sure it’ll find a niche market on Steam as well. There’s even a few new twists on the Tens! formula, with special tiles that teleport dices to random spots on the board – or destroy them, if you’re really unlucky.
Tens! has been available on iOS and Android for quite a while now, as developer Kwalee has focused specifically on the mobile marketplace. David Darling CBE, CEO of Kwalee, said “The Nintendo Switch and PC gaming are really popular within the Kwalee studio, with many of us being avid players on these platforms, so creating a game for the likes of Steam and the Switch has been on our minds for quite some time.”
Darling goes on to say that the team enjoys working on titles that appeal to a wide audience, and Tens! is the perfect example. He’s thrilled to launch the game to a new group of players and is excited to see what the future has in store for the title.
Tens will be available on Nintendo Switch and Steam for $14.99. During the pre-order phase you can pick the game up for just $9.99.
