Sony Leak Reveals Three New Gaming Headsets

Sony could be on the cusp of announcing a new brand of gaming headsets, with a trio of cans in the lineup. This is according to 91Mobiles, which obtained information from OnLeaks. These new peripherals won't be PlayStation branded, like the PS5's 3D Audio-marketed Pulse headset, but will instead form a new brand named Inzone.

Leaks show images of three new headsets that follow the white colour scheme of the Pulse and PS5. The H3 is wired and has a USB-C port and a volume dial, and there is also an "NC/AMB" button which suggests it might feature noise cancellation and perhaps an ambient sound mode. There were two further models leaked.

Sony's Inzone H7 and H9 are wireless and connect over Bluetooth but also include USB connection. All three models will reportedly support 360-degree spatial audio while the most premium of the models, the H9, will include noise cancellation. There are currently no details on which platforms these new models will support, but Sony's Pulse headset work on the PS5 and on PC making it likely the Inzones are similar but we'll have to wait for official confirmation on that.

Regular leaker Tom Henderson has claimed these headsets are part of a batch of Inzone-branded gaming devices. Apparently, there are also Inzone gaming monitors on the near horizon. These will be a pair, with one sporting 4K resolution and 144Hz display, and the other 240Hz and 1080p. We have no reports of their screen sizes yet, but both monitors will support HDR, variable refresh rates, and other features that play nice with games reportedly.

No details as to the costings of the headsets or monitors have surfaced yet, but according to Henderson Sony might be officially announcing these products as soon as next week. We'll have more as soon as we hear it.
