Warzone Player Finds A Modern Warfare Pistol That Shouldn’t Exist

Call of Duty: Warzone has had more than its fair share of bugs and glitches. The last time we saw the infinite stim glitch; the method involved glitching in night vision goggles that had no business being in Warzone. This glitch isn’t related to the infinite stim, but it does, somehow, glitch a pistol from Modern Warfare into the game that shouldn’t be there.

In a recent earnings call with investors, Activision-Blizzard claimed that the so-called “Warzone model” has been so successful for the company, that it plans on bringing it to its other franchises. In the same vein, we know that all Call of Duty games are going to integrate with Warzone in one way or another. Although, it’s probably safe to say that this particular integration wasn’t in the plans.

As reported by Eurogamer, a Warzone player found a blueprint for the Sykov pistol—which can only be found in Modern Warfare’s survival mode on PS4—during a round of plunder. The blueprint is for a fully automatic version of the pistol. It’s worth mentioning that this pistol can’t be unlocked and isn’t even part of the current loot table for Warzone.

However, players have been expecting the Sykov to be added to Warzone for some time, taking the opportunity to level up their weapons in anticipation of its addition. The fansite ModernWarzone claims that the gun can be upgraded to have 80 rounds, be dual-wielded, and fully automatic. Without a nerf, the Sykov will most likely dominate Warzone in the same way that the DMR did just a few weeks ago.

The DMR was so powerful that it received two separate nerfs and saw players refer to Warzone as DMRzone because so many people felt that you couldn’t win without using it. At this point, it’s not clear whether or not the Sykov will be coming to Warzone or not—let alone how a player was able to get a blueprint through seemingly legitimate means.

If, however, the Sykov will be coming to Warzone, it’s possible that night vision goggles may also make an appearance, finally fulfilling the rumor that a night-mode will be coming to Warzone (alongside zombies).
