Though Destiny 2’s next expansion, Beyond Light, has been delayed until November, that might be good news for Guardians. The Season of Arrivals has been greatly expanded, providing more time to hang out on Titan, Mercury, Mars, and Io, and to complete activities that will leave the game in the fall–including several raids, and the new Moments of Triumph. Gear up with new Exotics to take down Destiny 2’s toughest (old) challenges by visiting Xur this week. You’ve got one more day to grab what he’s offering before he leaves with the weekly reset on July 21. Here’s where to find him and what he’s selling.
Head to the Tower to find Xur this week, hanging out in Hangar section. For his weapon, Xur is offering Skyburner’s Oath. Hunters can pick up the Lucky Raspberry chest armor; for Titans, there’s the Peacekeepers leg armor; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Vespers of Radius chest armor. Read on for an in-depth look at the stats and attributes of each Exotic.
Xur Location
Spawn in at the central Tower transmat zone and head to your left to take the stairs down to the Hangar. When you reach the bottom, turn left and walk past the Dead Orbit area to find some stairs leading up to a catwalk, near the edge of the area. You’ll find Xur standing there, surveying the Tower and overlooking a spectacular view of the Last City.

Xur Exotic Items
Xur’s weapon this week is Skyburner’s Oath, an Exotic Scout Rifle that’s particularly adept at killing Cabal, making it perfect for venturing into the Leviathan for its various raids. As for armor, all of Xur’s Exotics come with much higher stats than in past seasons, making them all worthy of your consideration. If you’re not a fan of his other options, Xur also sells an Exotic engram that will decrypt into an Exotic you don’t already own. He also has the Five of Swords challenge card, which lets you enable modifiers for Nightfall Strikes.
- Exotic Engram — 97 legendary shards
- Skyburner’s Oath — 29 legendary shards
- Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves — 23 legendary shards
- Dunemarchers — 23 legendary shards
- Claws of Ahamkara — 23 legendary shards
- Five of Swords — free
Skyburner’s Oath
An oldie Exotic from way back in vanilla Destiny 2, Skyburner’s Oath is a great one to pick up if you’re looking to take on this year’s Moments of Triumph and return to the Leviathan raids. Skyburner’s Oath fires seeking slug projectiles when you fire from the hip, while shooting straight, slower, higher-damage shots when you aim down the sights. But the Exotic’s true power is in taking on Cabal enemies–its slugs do extra damage to the Cabal and penetrate Phalanx shields. It should give you a leg up in the Leviathan raids in particular, making it easier to nab those Moments of Triumph.
Lucky Raspberry (Hunter)
If you’re fond of Arc Bolt grenades in all situations, check out Lucky Raspberry. The Exotic amps up the grenades to make their chain lightning more powerful, plus gives your grenades a chance to recharge every time they deal damage–meaning your grenades will hit more enemies each time you throw them, and the more enemies they hit, the more chance of you getting your grenade back instantly.

Peacekeepers (Titan)
Players who rely on submachine guns like The Recluse can get a lot done pairing them with Peacekeepers. The leg armor makes your SMGs ready instantly, reloads them when they’re stowed, and improves your handling and your movement speed when you’re using one. There are some great SMGs in the game right now, and favorites like The Recluse will start to become obsolete in Beyond Light, so this is a good chance to make the most out of them with a fun Exotic pairing.

Vesper of Radius (Warlock)
Make your Rifts a little bit deadly with Vesper of Radius. When you cast a Rift, it doesn’t just heal you or empower your weapons–it also fires off an Arc shockwave around you when you cast it, making Rifts useful for dealing with groups of enemies in PvE. Rift energy also recharges faster when you’re surrounded, encouraging you to use your defensive Rifts more offensively.
